Descubrí a Jorge Salan después de mucho indagar una canción que había escuchado tiempo atrás en la radio...

Y al encontrarlo no solo descubrí la canción, sino a este gran, mejor dicho, increible guitarrista madrileño, que a sus poco más de 26 años tiene unos cuantos discos a sus espaldas, múltiplies colaboraciones y forma parte de la más que conocida banda Mago de Oz.

Este joven guitarrista prodigio, admirador de genios como Steve Vai o Gary Moore, realizaba en su último disco un cover de una de las últimas canciones de los Thin Lizzy de Phil Lynnot. Realmente una canción grabada una ver muerto Phil, basado en una maqueta que había dejado...

Juego con un abridor de botellas de vino. Desenfundo la navaja -poco afilada por cierto- que hace las veces de seccionador de la funda protectora del corcho de las botellas. Toco el filo y no siento nada. Vuelvo a cerrarlo y pienso en la expresión estar al filo de la navaja. No de esta navaja, claro.

Le doy al play y suena este Lost in Space. Del nuevo trabajo de Tobias Sammet y su proyecto Avantasia. Los conocí con su increible Metal Opera y no me pude resistir cuando salió este extraño doble EP titulado Lost in Space part I & II.

Eschuco la canción, persigo la ventana y me pregunto que carajo hago hoy en casa si finalmente hoy salió el sol. Apuro los últimos sorbos de la cerveza que tengo delante y me propongo dejar de pensar. O quizás dejar de pensar en pensar.

Era un 6 de mayo de 1968. Tras la primera concentración en la Sorbona tres días antes, ese lunes se producen los primeros hechos violentos. 40 años después, las consecuencias de aquella revolución no se sabe si están más presentes en la sociedad o en los medios...

El rumor de la música conocida, el sonar de las olas contra la arena, las luces de un ir y venir de taciturnos vehículos con insomnio. Ese insomnio nocturno que refleja en la copa, copa en mano, las emociones de quien no quiere dejar un lugar. Un momento. Aunque un momento sea muy poco tiempo...

Vuelvo a soñar despierto.

Scorpions publican en 1975 su tercer álbum, el In trance. Lejos aún de la fama que les vendría con discos como Blackout (1982) o el Love at first sting (1984), este disco es ya una evidente declaración de intenciones. Y este In trance, sublime.

Aquí en el cielo las cosas no se huelen igual. Ves las gotas caer al revés.  Suspiras cuando una nube te susurra, los sueños son de agua. Mi corazón me pregunta, qué haces ahí arriba. Aspiras un aire que creías no podrías encontrar y te dejas llevar por la poesía, esa, danza de la luna que, cada noche, se asoma y te sonríe.

Descargué un disco de Marea con la promesa de encontrarme los sucesores de Extremoduro.  El caso es que bajé su primer disco, La patera (1999), y me fascinaron. Debía ser el año 2001. Vienen de Berriozar, Navarra y Kutxi Romero y su troupe llevan ya cinco discos y multitud de poesías hechas canción. La canción de hoy aparece en su disco debut.

Y es que desde ésta, mi nube pasajera, la luna pasa cada día, y se va por donde ha venido. Y es cuando pienso, mejor, si puedo, bajar de un vez a tierra, y sentir, a la luz, de esa luna cautivadora, sensual, su brillo en mi mirada.
