No sé si pensar que esta es una letra positiva para hoy, o quizás cogida con pinzas, porque la intención de nuestros amigos los Manowar, seguramente no era crear una canción de autoayuda para seres depresivos buscando consuelo, sino lanzar una arenga épica de "guerrero valiente nunca muere"... Pero la cogí al vuelo y la tomé un poco como empuje para sentir positividad hoy...

El grupo, formado en New York en 1980 y con algunos records a sus espaldas como el de ser el "grupo más ruidoso según el Guiness", incluíua este tema en su disco más laureado de su carrera, el Kings of Metal (1988). La canción, balada a piano, ha sido interpretada también en alemán (Herz aus Stahl) y con una orquesta en 2005.

Hacía muchos, muchos años que no escuchaba yo a los Manowar (tuve mi época allá por los 18-20 años más metalera...) y no sé porqué el otro día me vino el estribillo a la cabeza (Stand and fight...), así que pensé en ponerla, y aquí está.
