Dije ayer que el tono de Mika me recordaba al de Justin Hawkins en The Darkness. Y la verdad es que no tengo ni idea de qué conozco a este grupo, pero debo reconocer que fue un disco fijo en el coche durante unos cuantos meses cuando salió...

El grupo, formado en 2000 obtuvo un espectacular éxito con su primer álbum Permission to land (2004). Álbum que parece caricaturizar de manera genial a algunos de los grandes grupos del Rock como Queen, Led Zeppelin, Gun's and Roses o The Cure. 

El cantante, Justin Hawkins, abandonó el grupo en 2006  por un problema de adicción a las drogas y como nota curiosa, destacar que en 2007 participó en el Festival de... Eurovisión!!!

La canción, a ritmo de tonos falsetes made in Freddy Mercury y estribillo a lo Crazy Little thing called love, esconde un poderoso tema rockero simple pero muy muy pegadizo.

Y la letra, tontita, corta, al ritmo de los riffs de guitarra. I believe in a thing called love. Ja ja. yo también.
