I Don't Wanna Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)

De regreso de las merecidas (y frías) vacaciones de Navidad, y presto a iniciar un relativamente largo viaje en coche de vuelta a casa, he metido en el cargador de CDs una de mis últimas adquisiciones. El Good Morning Revival (2007), de los Good Charlotte.

Después de haber escuchado el primer single Keep Your Hands off My Girl en el programa MusicaEsTres de Radio3, en otra de las largas caravanas matinales, esa misma canción fue utilizada en un anuncio, creo recordar, de Vodafone... Así que le dimos una oportunidad al disco, y aunque según críticas no es su mejor disco, es más que digerible...

La elección para hoy es casi como una paradoja. Sin que valgan las comparaciones, y como contra de canciones como "All you need is love" de los Beatles, el "Somebody to love" de los Queen, o la de los Jeferson Airplane, o porque no, el "Everybody needs somebody to love" versioneada por los Blues Brothers, me quedé pensativo en la jodida letra de la canción...

que todo el mundo levante las manos y diga "yo no quiero estar enamorado"

Ja! Yo lo que quiero no es no estar enamorado, sino ¡estarlo y ser correspondido!
