More than words

Hace unos días, al postear el Sultans of swing de los Dire Straits decía algo como que es una de esas canciones que cualquier persona que toque guitarra le gustaría saber tocar... La canción de hoy para mí es la canción que cualquier aficionado y guitarrista le hubiera gusta poder componer.

Pequeña Masterpiece acústica. Aluvión de emociones que se desprenden de la voz de Gary Cherone y los fingerpicks de Nuno Betancourt. Grabada por Extreme en 1991 para su segundo álbum Pornograffitti.

La conocí en 1992, cuando para la Expo 92 de Sevilla se celebraron unos conciertos de Guitar Legends en los que actuaron. Y fue mi hermano (otra vez) el que me los hizo conocer. Desde entonces, esta canción es una de mis favoritas. Musicalmente hablando...

Porque...emocionalmente hablando es un tema que hace que la sangre vibre y fluya a velocidad endiablada y tenga el corazón latiendo a todo ritmo.  La he vuelto a escuchar varias veces hoy. Una ayer. Y realmente, sí, se necesitan algo más que palabras para poder expresar muchas veces los sentimientos.Y es que a veces, un mero gesto, un simple sentir, reir, mirar dicen mucho más que todas las palabras del mundo.
