Son escoceses, y no recuerdo realmnete de qué los conozco. Quizás solo me llamó la atención en su momento el nombre del grupo y por ello compré un CD con sus grandes éxitos... Del Amitri.

Y la canción aparece en su segundo álbum Walking hours (1989). Canción extraña a ritmo de melodía pop con guitarras acústicas. No sé si pensar que es una canción triste, en todo caso parece una canción de desesperación.

Esa desesperación de ver que las cosas no avanzan, no importan, no cuentan...

Y es que, como dice la canción, nunca pasa nada, al fnal, la aguja siempre vuelve al principio de la canción...

Seguiremos, tal vez, espectadores de tantas y tantas barbaries ajenas. Espectadores de tantos agravios cercanos. Espectadores de tantas agonías cotidianas. Volveremos, a darle al play, y que suene de nuevo la misma canción...
